Our Stucture & Mission

The Student Government Association of Drury University has been established as the organization through which the values and ideals of Drury University students are implemented. The structure of the SGA is recognized as three distinct entities that work together in achieving common goals. The three entities are as follows:

Executive Council
Student Senate
Student Body

The Executive Council is composed of a president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, and technology coordinator. The Student Senate is composed of six student representatives from each academic class. The student body is recognized as the organizations sanctioned by the Student Affairs committee, the individuals who make up these organizations, and all other Drury University day-school students.

The mission of SGA:

The Student Government Association of Drury University has been established as a forum to address the rights and concerns of the entire day-school student body. Using critical thought, creative problem solving, and insight gained through contact with our peers, we strive to enhance and better the student experience of those we represent.
