Matt Battaglia has been the SGA advisor since August 2005. He is an alumnus of Drury University (Class of 2001) where he majored in Accounting and Business Administration.
As an undergraduate, Matt was active on campus in SGA, SIFE, Lambda Chi Alpha, Student Orientation, and as an RA. Upon graduation, Matt married Andrea Aikins ('01) and moved to Baltimore, Maryland, where he worked as a CPA and financial advisor.
Matt and Andrea moved back to Springfield in 2005 to work for Drury. Matt is Hall Director of Sunderland in addition to being the SGA advisor, and Andrea works for Drury also as the Greek Life and Student Organizations Coordinator. Matt is currently working on his MBA at Drury and will graduate in the summer or fall of 2009.
