Student Activism Week is organized by the Student Government every year, to get input and involvement from the student body. This year we have organized a forum for all students to come and ask questions directly to some of the members of the administration. The questions and concerns ranged from the new alcohol policy to technology related and accessibility issues.
'Swipe a meal' was an event for the students to raise meals for the Springfield Kitchen. The students could swipe their card more times and all the extra swipes were added up, to a total 234 meals.
Convoy of Hope was a drive to collect hygiene items to create full kits that will be sent to the convoy of hope foundation. These kits will then be sent to kids in countries with poor hygiene. We have raised a total of 90 kits and $35 to aid the efforts. Special thanks to one particular Alpha class that put together a lot of kits for us.
