     Title: SGA Adhering to New Constitution

GA operating under new structure since last April.

During the past Spring semester (2009) SGA drafted a new constitution and new bylaws. The constitution was voted upon and ratified by the student body during elections late March. The new constitution restructured the general assembly to better fit the demographics of the Drury student body. It also created several new committees as well as promote a couple more positions to the executive council.
The Drury student newspaper, The Mirror, profiled the new constitution with this article. As a general assembly SGA also adopted a new set of bylaws to aid the constitution. Both documents can be found under the “About SGA” section of our website.
